Born in Baltimore and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in a small town of Centreville Maryland Krystal knew from age 7 that she wanted to live in Key West. She graduated high school and went on to attend Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida the Fall of 2002.
Krystal was accepted to the College of Business and majored in Finance. While attending FSU she started working for a small title company in 2004 which inspired her to add Real Estate as a second major to her Bachelors of Science degree.
Krystal spent the summers of her college career in Key West and upon graduating college in 2006 she spent a “final” summer in Key West and went on to accept a job with Costar Group. Costar Group was in the commercial real estate sector that was based in her home state of Maryland; there she worked as a research associate and ultimately as a research manager overseeing 10+ employees.
In 2011 she decided to make Key West her home (again) and began working for a vacation rental company as a property manager which brought her back to the residential side of real estate. Krystal has over 13 years of experience in Real Estate including 6 years of Key West real estate and vacation rental market experience.
Krystal is a member of the National Association of REALTORS, Florida Association of Realtors, Key West Association of Realtors (currently serving on the Public Relations committee), Program Director for The Rotary Club of Key West, and is a co-host of the Florida Keys Real Estate show on Island 106.9 FM.
